About DB.

DB’s artistic journey began in a childhood spent moving through Syria, Ireland, Greece, Egypt, Italy, and the UK. His first camera, a gift from his parents, sparked a lifelong passion for capturing life’s moments, which ultimately led him from photography into the broader art world.

Blending photography with painting, drawing, and found objects, DB’s work retains a playful, curious spirit.

After a successful three-decade career as an international advertising photographer in London, working with clients like Marlboro, Mercedes Benz, and British Airways, DB relocated to New Zealand. Here, he rediscovered the joy of mixed media, embracing a more personal, expressive approach to art.
